Muar - declared the royal city of Johor by Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar, While the symbolic tiger in johor is known as “Southern Tiger", embodies the spirit of Johorian. Tiger, in this mural is portraying as a guardian who protects Muar and against foreign violators.

Since March this year, we have started from the concept, preparation and collecting recycle materials for the best outcome. Spending nearly five month times, we have spent in order to come to this and every exploration process was fun and exciting! The time when we've decided to present the spiritual animal, tiger in this form, we were so anxious for couldn't able to collect a lot of badminton shuttlecocks in a short time.
We chose to use Recycle Shuttlecocks to highlight the recycle waste to be an art and being concern to environment issue. We collect used shuttlecocks from various badminton center and a base layer of recycle polystyrene foams. The collected shuttlecocks are painted in 3 different colour tone which is grey and black while white remaining the shuttlecocks existing color.
We're extremely grateful for the tremendous support from Ooi Jia Tian and Ooi HanPoo for having the enthusiastic in helping collect a big pile of shuttlecocks in a very short time! Thank you PernTQ for the recycle polystyrene foams he provided that we use to make the skin of the tiger.
In addition, big thanks to Chua's Badminton Hall & Sports for helping in the late process and so could the tiger be completed. Not to forget, thanks Teo Peng Heng James for giving us the platform to showcasing our talent.
