Can't wait to share with you something we've been working on. Spending 7 months from Collecting, Cleaning and start the Crafting from Cans into [ Eyes of Muar - Part II ].
From collecting materials to experimentation to production, it took nearly a year to complete this “Eyes of Muar”. The combination of thousands of feathers signify the gathered power of Muarian. The tiger, sacred beast of Johor, represents the guardian emerges in the sky, protecting our city.
The city below the tiger is made of more than a thousand of soda cans. The city can be divided into five groups of buildings which represents five of our main sponsors. The connotation of the work is to express the gratitude to our Muar merchants and civilians that brings Muar to current development. The aluminium recycle can are resistance from water and acts as a shelter for wooden board below(in black color).
Therefore, I urge everyone to take care of Muar, please do not litter and do reduce the amount of daily waste. Do not dump away the shuttlecocks unless it can't fly anymore, or else collect and make a tiger. Aluminum cans, you can either do recycle or do another city out of them. A little effort and art installation skills from Co2 to make our living environment a better place!
